Ranger/Starter

Sassamon Trace Golf Course is a public 9 hole executive length golf course owned and operated by the Town of Natick located on Rt. 27 in Natick. The golf course is situated partially on the former Natick Landfill and a former apple orchard in Sherborn. The par 32 course hosts approximately 42,500 rounds of golf annually and offers instructional programs, leagues and memberships.

We are seeking Ranger/Starter to fill the following part time seasonal (April-November) position.

Hiring Salary Range: $15.00-$15.38 depending on experience and qualifications

Hours: Flexible schedules, must be able to work mornings, evenings and weekend shifts. Approximately 5-10 hours per week.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include checking if players have checked in, make appropriate pairings, inform all players of the golf rules, and help enforce the course rules.
Candidates for this position must possess excellent hospitality skills.
Proficient on a computer.
Must be at least 16 years of age possessing a MA driver’s license.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:

Must demonstrate initiative, have the ability to work as a team member.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by the Supervisor.
