FY 2016 Budget

Welcome to the online homepage of the FY 2016 Town of Natick Budget. The budget process is one of the most important tasks that Natick faces annually. Prioritizing the budget affects everyone within the community, and it is important that everyone feels enfranchised in an open and collaborative process. This resource is designed to help citizens learn more about the basics of budgeting in Natick and to inform citizens about how they can be involved in the process.

Budget Process
The budget process began internally in fall 2014 with the development of departmental budgets on both the municipal and school sides of the government. The Town Administrator, as required by the Town's Charter and Bylaws, is required to submit her preliminary budget to the Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee on the 1st business day of January. This year that is January 5, 2015.

Full copies of the Preliminary Budget are available at the reference desks of the Morse Institute Library, 14 East Central Street; the Bacon Free Library, 56 Eliot Street; and the Offices of the Town Clerk and the Board of Selectmen, 13 East Central Street.
