Individuals must meet or exceed the experience requirements pursuant to MGL C.143 Section 3 and 780 CMR if they are not already certified as a Local Inspector under the provisions of 780CMR 110.R7.

Department Assistant, Police Department
The Natick Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Department Assistant. Responsibilities include: transcription of oral reports, recording and processing all vital records; daily and monthly reconciliation and reporting of receipts and other general clerical duties. Computer skills including word processing and Excel are a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service ability as well as the ability to multi-task and maintain a high energy level. The Police Department often deals with sensitive legal issues. Due to safety and security concerns candidates may be subject to a background investigation. Candidates must be a high school graduate with a minimum two years office experience with focus on records management. Starting salary is $ 34,612.61 plus excellent benefits

School Crossing Guard
The Natick Police Department is seeking responsible applicants for the position of School Crossing Guard on both full-time and part-time (back up) basis.
Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday starting between 7:15 and 9:00 am and between 1:55 and 3:30 pm, depending on the post assignment. Back up Guards must be willing to be on-call to fill in for scheduled (e.g., vacation day) and unscheduled (e.g., sick day) leave time for the regularly-scheduled School Crossing Guard. Compensation is $18.98 per shift covered or $37.95 if a full day (2 shifts) is worked. Safety equipment will be provided to individuals filling these vacancies.
