Mission Statement
The mission of the Human Services Department is to ensure that health and human services are provided, available, and accessible to all residents of the town of Natick.
Human Services
• Making sure services are available and accessible by contracting services, bringing services physically into Town, and coordinating services and working with other Town Departments, schools, local agencies, religious organizations, local civic groups, local businesses, etc. in forming collaborations and partnerships for the planning and delivery of services
• Information and Referral for health and human services and volunteer opportunities
• Provide positive alternatives / prevention programming for youth
• Research and writing of grant proposals for services, assist others with proposals that include human services and form partnerships for grants for human services
• Coordinate the Human Services Directory project
• Provide support for other human services groups and committees, i.e. Natick Community Coalition,
• NADAC and community efforts such as the Neighborhood Watch program or others
ADA Coordinator And Commission On Disability
• Information and referral
• Technical assistance
• Trainings
• Access surveys and compliance inspections
• Awareness activities
• Work with public and private sectors to ensure access
• Provide support to the Commission on Disability in carrying out its mission, goals, projects and meetings
