What bid law does Natick follow?
Natick is subject to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B for the procurement of goods and services, MGL Chapter 30 for public works projects and Chapter 149 for public building projects. The Natick By-Law pertaining to contracts is Article 41.
How do I find out about upcoming bids?
Natick advertises bids in the MetroWest Daily News. In addition, public works and public building projects estimated to cost over $25,000 are advertised in the Central Register and goods and services procurements estimated to cost over $100,000 are advertised in the Goods & Services Bulletin. Both the Register and the Bulletin are published by the Secretary of State and are available for viewing at the Morse Institute Library.
