    Memory and Aging with Dr Paul Solomon, the Boston Center for Memory Monday, October 15, 2:30pm, free Join Dr. Paul Solomon, Clinical Director and Neuropsychologist at the Boston Center for Memory for a discussion about memory and aging. Our ability to recall information changes as we grow older. In many cases these changes are due to normal aging. Significant or progressive memory loss, however, is not a normal sign of aging. Join Dr Solomon as he talks about these differences and how to identify these changes. He’ll also discuss medical evaluations and various treatment options including medications, counseling, & resources. The Boston Center for Memory in Newton is an independent multi-specialty clinical center that provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations with treatment and continuing follow up care for memory disorders including Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.

    October 13, 2018 - October 19, 2018 @ Local mosaic artist, Carol Krentzman of the Mosaic Art Institute of Natick, is excited to have designed along with local artist Amy Robinson Steinmetz, another outdoor mosaic panel to be installed on the Fair & Yeager Insurance Agency, Inc. building on Co

    Fabrication of the brightly colored mosaic will take place during a sixty-hour Mosaic Marathon throughout the week of October 13-19, 2018 in the Glass Art Studio at 3 Adams Street located around the corner from the installation site. Local mosaic artists and members of the New England Mosaic Society (NEMS) will be invited to join her and work on the project. The Mosaic Marathon will be open to the public who will be welcome to come into the studio, talk to the mosaic artists, and observe the fascinating process of building a mosaic piece by piece. The open hours are: Sat & Sun 10/13 & 14: 1-4 PM; Mon, Tues & Wed 10/15, 16 & 17: 9 AM-12, 2-5 PM & 7-10 PM; Thurs 10/18: 9 AM-12 & 6-9 PM; and Fri 10/19: 9 AM-12 & 2-5 PM.
