  4. Sisters in Crime Mystery Writers Panel

    August 22, 2017, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Ever want to learn how those amazing mystery writers come up with their ideas, plots, characters, etc? Ever thought you could do it better? We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Sisters in Crime authors Hallie Ephron, Sheila Connolly, Hank Phillipi Ryan (for a 3rd return visit to the BFL!) and Barbara Ross to the Bacon Free Library! They will be plotting a mystery story line using ideas from attendees, so come with your ideas. You’ll be amazed and amused by how intricate the process is, how authors pore over every detail and how they decide on a “finished” product.

Books from all four authors will be available for purchase and signing.

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Bacon Free Library. Registration is requested so we know how many cookies to have on hand ??

  1. Natick Farmers Market

    August 26, 2017, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

We are open every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. Our market is open year round. We move from the Natick common right across the street to the Common Street Church. You won't miss a bit of all the good music and you certainly won't miss any of your vendors. We will be there come rain, sunshine, or snow. The Natick Farmers Market, sponsored by the Natick Center Associates, is designed to meet the following goals: To provide fresh food products, either grown or made by local providers, to the community. To provide a marketing opportunity to farms and small food businesses in order to help sustain a thriving, local food source. To provide the community with a broad range of information about food and it's sources, and the opportunity to speak directly with those producers involved with bringing the food to market.
